Understanding the Myth.
Generally the consumer have been under the illusion
that wireless security systems have “NO WIRES”
this is generally not true. Most wireless alarms require
physical cable connections for the External/Internal
sounders, telephone connections and most importantly
the 230volt mains power for the system. These wiring
connections, often overlooked can be installed by our
professional installers without impacting on the decor
of the property and generally concealed from view.
New systems are coming to the market place that reduce
the number of actual wired connections, most notably
is the Honeywell Domonial system that does away with
the need for an external wired sounder as they have
now developed a wireless external unit.
Wireless security is an evolving science in a modern
world, with old opinions, being changed every day.
